Run 4 The Sea Along A1A in Juno Beach!

Woman running in South Florida

In South Florida, the summer season brings a few things to the table – including warm weather and well-being! To promote healthy living and healthy oceans, Loggerhead Marinelife Center’s fifth annual Run 4 The Sea benefit race is set for June 18, 2016. Runners will not only get the chance to run alongside A1A and the beautiful Atlantic Ocean; they’ll also be helping to keep the oceans clean and beautiful.

Run 4 the Sea will include a four-mile run for adults and a one-mile race for kids in Juno Beach just behind LMC. After the race, participants will enjoy a post-race celebration complete with a bounce house provided by The Gymnastics Revolution, food from Trader Joe’s, Burrito Brothers and Jersey Mike’s and great music by DJ Al Johnson. All participants will receive beautiful sea turtle medals, and winners from each category will be awarded stylish sea turtle holograms.

LMC has also doubled its vendor row this year with a variety of local businesses perfect for the whole family. Event sponsors include Anchor Commercial Bank, Atticus Printing, Avonda Wealth Management, Eavenson Fraser & Lunsford PLLC, Michelle Tucker Team- Florida Living Realty, Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center and The Gardens Mall.

Expecting a crowd of nearly 500, LMC will offer free parking in Loggerhead Park with overflow parking and trolley service at Juno Beach Pier Park, just north of the center.

The four-mile race begins at 7 a.m., followed by the kids fun run at 8:15 a.m. Check-in for pre-registered runners opens at 6:15 a.m. on the day of the race. Same day registration is also available.

Pre-registration is $35 (the cost is $40 on race day) and only $10 for the kids fun run. All proceeds benefit Loggerhead Marinelife Center. For more information, visit www.marinelife.org/run.
