Loggerhead Marinelife Center offers evening Valentine’s Day tours, Painting with a Purpose, kids Sea Turtle Sleepover & more!

Loggerhead Marinelife Center (LMC) has special programming events for all ages this February. From evening guided Valentine’s Day tours, to Valentine’s Day themed Paint with a Purpose, kid’s Sea Turtle Sleepover and more. The Center is offering plenty of options for everyone.

Kick off Valentine’s Day festivities with a Love is in the Sea Paint with a Purpose class at LMC.

 

Paint N Drink
February 8 at 6 p.m., $25/person

Supplies and instruction included for you to create a memorable piece of artwork! Feel free to bring adult beverages, but we ask that all drinks be in reusable containers. Singles, couples and groups welcome. Please arrive 15 minutes early. Reservations via www.paintndrink.com are required as space is limited. A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Loggerhead Marinelife Center.

Evening Guided Tour: Valentine’s Day Edition
February 13, 14 & 15 from 6-7 p.m., $30/person

Chocolates, teddy bears, flowers…looking for something different to arrange for Valentine’s Day this year? Get an up-close view and learn all about LMC and the work we do here by participating in one of our special Evening Guided Tours. All are welcome to enjoy holiday-themed treats, light bites and bubbles as an experienced guide leads guests through LMC’s Exhibit Hall, behind the gates of our sea turtle rehabilitation area to meet our current sea turtle patients, and into our Sea Turtle Hospital for an exclusive peek at where the action happens. This Valentine’s Day edition tour includes a special Valentine’s Day Adoption per person! Singles, couples, friends and families are welcome to join us.

Looking to plan a night away from the kids this Valentine’s Day weekend? Drop them off for a night of marine science exploration at LMC’s Sea Turtle Sleepover.

Sea Turtle Sleepover
February 16, drop off at 7 p.m., $65 per child

LMC’s Sea Turtle Sleepover is an exclusive nighttime program for children between the ages of 8-12, that includes a tour of LMC’s Outdoor Sea Turtle Hospital, activities for aspiring scientists, movie time, snacks and pizza, and concludes with a little shut-eye among the aquariums.
