  • conduct undereater and beach cleanups to remove marine debris
  • monitor and protect one of the most densely populated sea turtle nesting beaches in the world

Shop LMC. For those who are completing their holiday shopping, we encourage you to shop for a cause with our 2020 holiday gift guide! When you make a purchase in our gift store – you are giving back to ocean conservation. All purchases made in our gift store directly benefit the rehabilitation and research of endangered and threatened sea turtles. Additionally, our new and expanded gift store offers more sustainable, locally made, and handcrafted items than before. Don’t forget to explore our Choice Matters program for more sustainable goods. To make matters even sweeter, from now until December 25, guests will receive a free repurposed magazine ornament with purchases of $50 and a complimentary ornament when purchasing 11 ornaments. Spread a little holiday cheer and give your favorite sea turtle lover a gift card to our store or the gift of marine education.

Small Business Saturday. On Saturday, November 28, make a stop at our gift store, or online boutique, to celebrate Small Business Saturday. Our Center is not only a sea turtle hospital but a community hub. Through gift store sales, we are able to provide free admission to more than 350,000 annual guests and educational programs. Gift store purchases, and partnered retail operations (Juno Beach Pier and Manatee Lagoon), directly benefit our sea turtle patients and ocean conservation initiatives. Guests support allows LMC to treat nearly 100 sea turtle patients, and over 1,000 hatchlings, each year. So, shop locally and help us spread our mission globally.

Cyber Monday. Beginning on Sunday, November 29 at 10 p.m., enjoy free shipping on all online purchases, 20 percent off of sea turtle adoptions, and 10 percent off of brick pavers to be featured at our expanded campus. Receive a free ornament, while supplies last, with $50 purchases or more. For the first year ever, consumers can give the gift of figuratively naming a hatchling. Cyber Monday deals can be redeemed until Monday, November 30 at midnight. Free shipping applies to domestic shipping only.

Kickoff Giving Tuesday by making a tax-deductible donation in your loved one’s name, adopt a sea turtle patient, purchase a commemorative paver, or sign-up for one of our many seasonal programs. Have a heartfelt story to share? Consider submitting your story on “why you give to LMC” on Giving Tuesday’s official site.
