Blue Friday Festivities at LMC

Take a break from the Black Friday shopping scene – let’s turn this shopping day blue together! Loggerhead Marinelife Center is encouraging guests to #OptOutside and spend some time in nature with friends and family members.

Want to know the best part about participating in Blue Friday? It’s free!                                      Event activities include face painting, corn hole, upcycled coloring activities, photo ops at the turtle research station, and a campus-wide sustainability challenge. Other learning-based activities will include Junior Veterinarian Lab, outdoor amphitheater shows, and Rescue-to-Release Virtual Reality Theater Shows.

There is still a chance to get some holiday shopping done at LMC’s pop-up shop. The Seas of possibility by ELS for Autism will be selling a wide variety of ocean-themed holiday merchandise on-site at Blue Friday. LMC Gift Store will also have free gifts with purchases while supplies last!
