Loggerhead Marinelife Center Launches Contest to Win a Free, Sustainable Wedding

Juno Beach, Fla. (April 17, 2023) – Say “I do” at Loggerhead Marinelife Center (LMC)! In a special contest, Loggerhead Marinelife Center and partnered vendors will provide a free, sustainable luxury wedding to one lucky couple. To be eligible, participants must live in Martin County and Palm Beach County and create a video explaining what a sustainable wedding means to them and why they want one. Couples can submit their video entries from April 18 through June 1 on LMC’s website.
Loggerhead Marinelife Center will host the wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception for up to 75 guests. The Center’s exquisite, new event space provides the perfect backdrop for weddings, with indoor and outdoor options that have a direct view of the Center’s outdoor sea turtle hospital. Proceeds from events hosted at LMC directly support ocean and sea turtle conservation and education.
The Center has partnered with vetted local vendors that will provide everything the couple needs for their special day. This includes photography by Rosina DiBello, flowers by Orange Blossom Florals & Event Styling, catering by Sandy James Fine Food & Productions, and a DJ and wedding planner by Vanessa Fuller. In addition, the lucky couple will receive a two-night stay at the Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa beginning on the night of the wedding, along with complimentary resort and parking fees.
A $45,000 value, the luxury wedding will take place this summer, either Friday, August 18 or Sunday, August 20. The winner has the option to add additional services to their wedding and hotel stay – at their own expense. The first 100 video entries will be considered and must be no longer than 45 seconds. The winner will be announced on June 2. For official rules and regulations, visit marinelife.org/weddinggiveaway.
