Join LMC biologists on local eco excursions and explore the diverse coastal ecosystems of Florida.
From river to reef, participants will learn about the local flora and fauna as well as gain and
insight into the important of these delicate ecosystems in their community.

Kayak Eco Tour

When: Wednesday, September 7th

Details: Hit the water for a guided kayak tourwith LMC biologists. Participants will tour our local waterways as well as gain insight into the importance of these delicate coastal ecosystems.

Snorkel and Fish I.D.

When: Wednesday, September 28th
Time: 9:45 - 11:00 am

Details: Learn to spot the difference between common Florida reef fish and enjoy a guided snorkel tour to practice your new skills. Want to test out your underwater photography skills? Borrow an underwater camera from LMC to snap some pictures of your eco experience!

Halloween Hammock Hike

Details: Join Loggerhead Marinelife Center for this marine science-themed Halloween celebration! The event will begin on LMC’s campus with a craft and then include a family-friendly nighttime Hammock Hike. Costumes are encouraged!

Kid’s Field Experiences Eco Tour

During this guided kayak excursion, we will not only learn about the importance of our local coastal ecosystems but also clean up any debris we find along the way.
