SEA TURTLE AWARENESS
Distinctive Specialty Course & Dive

The sea turtle awareness distinctive specialty course introduces scuba divers to basic sea turtle identification and conservation.  You will learn about preserving the aquatic environment and about sea turtle species common in South East Florida.

Students will be given the knowledge and skills needed to identify turtles and record sightings. Students will also learn about the decline in sea turtle populations, importance of sea turtles to marine diversity and what they can do to reduce the loss of sea turtles worldwide.


Cost: $199.00
Class starts in the morning at 8:30am at Loggerhead Marinelife Center. Following the presentation, we will do a 2 tank dive at 1:30 pm leaving from Jupiter Dive Center.

Includes: 
Boxed lunch, t-shirt, boat charter, 2 air tanks (nitrox upgrade $10) materials and Sea Turtle Awareness Project Aware Specialty card and certification included.
