Returning in Fall '24, this tour provides an exclusive opportunity to explore our sea turtle hospital before operating hours. In a peaceful and intimate setting, you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at our patients’ rehabilitation journeys, from rescue to recovery. It’s the perfect way to start your day with a unique marine experience.
- Public Guided Tour:
Join our daily marine life tour for a one-hour guided walk through our outdoor sea turtle hospital. Meet our sea turtle patients, hear their stories, and learn about their journey from rescue to release. This tour is designed to provide an in-depth look at the challenges faced by sea turtles and the efforts made to rehabilitate and protect them. It’s open to guests aged 8 and above, offering a family-friendly way to explore marine life.
- Private Guided Tour:
Experience Loggerhead Marinelife Center more personally and exclusively with our Private Guided Tour. Ideal for families, friends, or special occasions, this one-hour tour is tailored to your group’s interests and offers a closer look at our sea turtle patients and conservation efforts. Led by one of our experienced guides, this tour is customizable, ensuring a memorable experience for everyone. Private tours start at $150 for up to six guests, with an additional fee for more participants.
- Public Evening Guided Tour:
For a unique after-hours experience, join our Public Evening Guided Tour, available Tuesday through Saturday from June through July. This one-hour tour is perfect for guests aged 10 and above who want to explore our sea turtle hospital and learn about the nesting behaviors of sea turtles along South Florida’s beaches. Discover the incredible natural events as the sun sets and the ocean comes alive with activity.
- Audio Tour:
Prefer a self-guided adventure? The Audio Tour allows you to explore our expanded campus at your own pace. With an individual audio device and a detailed campus map, you can learn about our mission, meet our sea turtle patients, and discover the critical work we do here at Loggerhead Marinelife Center. The audio tour is available daily and suitable for all ages. You can check out the device anytime between 10 AM and 4:30 PM and take your time to enjoy the experience.

- What to Wear: Comfortable clothing and shoes are recommended for walking and standing. For the evening tours, bring a light jacket as it can get cooler by the beach. For daytime tours, wearing a hat and sunscreen is advisable.
- Arrival Time: Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled tour to check in and get ready for your adventure. This will ensure you have enough time to meet your guide and start promptly.
- Photography: Feel free to bring a camera! Photography is encouraged, but please avoid using flash, as it can disturb sea turtles and other wildlife.
