Gordon Gray Circle of 100
Members of the Gordon Gray Circle of 100 con-tribute annual gifts of $5,000 or more to LMC. They provide the essential financial resources to make a real difference in ocean conservation. These dollars have allowed the Center to extend our reach, build our expanded campus, do ground-breaking research, and increase the number of members on our team.
The Circle was created in 2012 by longtime board member and philanthropist, Gordon Gray. His belief was that Loggerhead Marinelife Center, while doing great work locally, should think more globally. Gordon urged us “to become the leading authority locally and internationally in ocean conservation via sea turtle research, rehabilitation, and educational programs.”
In December 2022, the LMC Board renamed this generous group The Gordon Gray Circle of 100 to honor Gordon’s vision, drive, and belief that LMC can become a global force in ocean conservation through research and rehabilitation of sea turtles. The LMC staff, board, and volunteers thank our Gordon Gray Circle Members for their steadfast support and appreciate that you share Gordon’s guiding vision.
