Our campus closed to the public on Monday March 16th however, our lifesaving work in our sea turtle hospital and on our local beaches continues. Our sea turtles are safe and receiving world-class care. Be sure to stay up to date on COVID-19 updates on our blog!

Monday, April 27 - Unique Sea Turtle Treatments

Join our veterinary technician Sam Clark as she discusses some of the most unique sea turtle treatments she has helped design for our sea turtle patients! Learn about some of the challenges our rehabilitation staff face in treating these unique reptiles, and hear some of the ways our rehabilitation team has come up with creative solutions!

Tuesday, April 28 - Fish ID

Loggerhead Marinelife Center’s  biologist educator, Casey explores our coastal ecosystems found in Florida. During this program, guests will learn about different fish species and how to tell them apart. What about sea turtles, do they need to defend themselves? Tune in to learn the basics about a wide range of defensive strategies used by all kinds of animals - from Armadillos to Zebras! Test your knowledge of animal defenses by taking our quiz, and get hands-on with our Animal Defenses Lesson Plan and Activity!
