Girl Scout Program
Loggerhead Marinelife Center offers a program for the Girl Scouts Love Sea Turtles patch! Girl Scouts can experience all that Loggerhead Marinelife Center has to offer – from an engaging and interactive lesson on sea turtles and their lifestyles, to a guided exploration of our Outdoor Sea Turtle Hospital where Girl Scouts will learn about our current patients, and how we are helping them! Loggerhead Marinelife Center offers both an on-campus experience, as well as a virtual option for those who are unable to travel!

Boy Scout Program
Is your Boy Scout group looking to learn about reptiles and conservation? Our Boy Scout program caters to both Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts on varied merit levels. During this program, scouts will learn about the biology of sea turtles, the challenges they face, and current conservation efforts as well as have a first-hand look at our current patients. An all-inclusive lesson plan for troop leaders is provided. Pre-registration is required.
The Boy Scout programs are as follows:
• Reptile & Amphibian Patch (Merit Scouts)
• Wildlife Conservation Beltloop (Cub Scouts)
Cost: $10/Scout; 8 scout minimum

To schedule a Girl Scouts Love Sea Turtles Program with Loggerhead Marinelife Center, please contact Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida. The Girl Scouts Love Sea Turtles Program is scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays, based upon availability.
Virtual Girl Scout Program
The virtual Girl Scouts Love Sea Turtles Program involves a pre-recorded, engaging presentation about sea turtles, their biology, their nesting habits, and everything in between! After the classroom portion, Girl Scouts will be taken on a LIVE virtual tour of our Outdoor Sea Turtle hospital – and have the opportunity to interact with and engage our biologist educators leading the program!
Cost: $10 per Girl Scout, with a six scout (or $60) minimum
