Participate in our year-round pier programming and experience Palm Beach County’s most iconic pier.


 

Participants will learn basic techniques for fishing from both a beach and a fishing pier including knot tying, casting, species identification, and proper release protocols. In addition to fishing skills, participants will learn to be ethical anglers and discover how to reduce their impact on marine life including sea turtles and shore birds.

Loggerhead Marinelife Center’s Juno Beach Pier staff is now offering Private Fishing Lessons for adults and kids ages 8 and up. If you’d like to learn fishing techniques from expert anglers and how you can help protect and restore the marine environment, this is the program for you!. One-hour lessons are booked in advanced based on first come, first serve basis.

Cost: $25 per angler per hour; $35 per angler with equipment included *does not include bait
Ages: 8+
Time: Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at
7:00am, 8:00am, 4:00pm and 5:00pm; Advanced reservation required.

Join our knowledgeable pier staff for a historical tour of the Juno Beach Pier and discover its historic significance in the community! Good for children and adults alike, learn more about the evolution of its construction, resident fish species and record-breaking catches and an introduction of responsible angling practices all while enjoying the view of this iconic cultural attraction.
