These scholarships will allow students to receive financial assistance so they can participate in LMC’s fun and hands-on activities that promote sea turtle rehabilitation and ocean conservation. Each scholarship will cover tuition for one session of LMC’s Junior Marine Biologist Summer Camp, field trips that explore local coastal ecosystems, daily lunch, camp shirts, and the option for daily extended care.
Scholarships will be granted based on financial need. The Center encourages families to apply if their child has a passion for wildlife and the outdoors, is curious about the ocean and local marine life, or aspires to work in the marine sciences or related fields.
