Cactus is a juvenile green that is stranded in Stuart. Cactus was hypoglycemic and slightly cold stunned at intake. Radiographs indicate a broken flipper that is healing. Current treatment is antibiotics.

Cactus started spending more time floating. Radiographs indicated severe pneumonia. Dr. Barron performed a transtracheal wash. Transtracheal wash is a diagnostic tool to determine what type of organisms cause pneumonia. Current treatment is antibiotics, antifungal medication, and nebulization. Prognosis is poor.
