About Denver
Released: 4-15-25

Species:

Juvenile Green (Chelonia mydas) (CM25-85)

Denver is a juvenile green sea turtle found in Cape Canaveral. The front flipper is infected and has lots of necrotic tissue. Treatment is antibiotic, light debridement, and radiographs. The flipper may need to be amputated since Denver is still using the flipper and the infection is under control. We are trying to save it.
