Green turtle (Chelonia mydas) (CM23-2376)

Eduardo is a juvenile green sea turtle found in Port St. Lucie by the Inwater Research Group with a severe flipper injury. Dr. Barron performed surgery on Monday to amputate the distal part of the flipper. The proximal flipper is bandaged with medihoney. Current treatment is antibiotics and wound care.
