Gingerbread was caught on a hook by a recreation fisherman at the Juno Beach Pier. Has previous carapace injury and paralysis in rear flipper. The
hook was located in the right front shoulder. It was removed using a local lidocaine block. Treatment includes freshwater bath to remove epibiota
and antibiotics.
