Little Grayson is a juvenile found floating and unable to dive near Jenson Beach by some boaters. Radiographs indicate pneumonia.

Dr. Barron performed an exploratory laparoscopy to determine the cause of gas and examine the GI tract. Little Grayson had some anesthetic complications that caused fluid to build up in the lungs. Little Grayson received medication to remove fluid, gentle coupage, and overnight oxygen therapy. Currently in shallow water to recover.

No significant findings on CT scan and the pneumonia has resolved. Working diagnosis is intestinal adhesions from her original injury may allow gas to become trapped intermittently. Currently in a deep dive tank to assess ability to swim.
