About Prune

Species:

Juvenile Green Turtle (Chelonia mydas) (CM26-1181)

Prune is a juvenile green turtle transferred from Whitney Laboratory in St. Augustine after stranding in St. John’s County. They have significant gas accumulation in the gastrointestinal tract, causing excessive buoyancy, so weights have been applied to help with submergence. Prune also has FP and is on antibiotics.
