Ranger is an adult female loggerhead found by Inwater research in St. Lucie with shark bite wounds. Ranger’s left front flipper will need to be amputated at the shoulder and the right flipper will need a surgical debridement. Ranger is anemic so is unable to have surgery. Current treatment is antibiotics, iron, and wound care.

Ranger has been moved to 11-8. Ranger stopped eating in the deep dive tank so we were unable to administer her oral medications. Ranger has been switched to injectable medications.
