Stanley is a juvenile green found floating in Palm Gardens. Radiographs indicate large fecal impaction. Current treatment is antibiotics, enemas, and fluids. Stanley is on poop watch. If you see Stanley defecate, please let the vet staff know.

Stanley began to decline over the weekend. Elected humane euthanasia. Necropsy results: Intussusception at the ileocecal. Intussusception is a complication where the intestine folds into themselves like rolling socks. Intussusception can cause restricted blood flow to tissue, tissue become necrotic and sepsis.
