Caretta caretta (Loggerhead Sea Turtle)
Eau-lympia is a subadult loggerhead sea turtle patient that was found floating in a marina in Stuart. The turtle is underweight and in poor health overall due to chronic debilitation. Final Update 2/10/2022
After 131 days of tracking, we received our last transmission from Eau-lympia on January 2, 2022. Eau-lympia was still located north of the Fort Pierce Inlet when the last transmission was received.
Update 12/10/2021
Since her release, Eau-lympia traveled north to the Fort Pierce Inlet. Eau-lympia seems to have settled into this area and is a good reminder to boaters to be vigilant while out on the water.
Update 8/24/2021
Eau-lympia was released from Juno Beach, Florida in a private release on August 24, 2021.
