ADMISSION NOTE:

Ethan is a large juvenile green sea turtle tat was found floating in the Indian River. Radiographs were taken upon arrival and showed a large amount of gas inside the intestines. The gas is causing the turtle to be positively buoyant, and is most likely due to an infection within the gastrointestinal tract. The infection is being treated with antibiotics. We will closely monitor Ethan’s bloodwork as we treat the infection.
