Eve

Eve is a subadult green turtle patient that was found on Little Munion Island. Radiographs indicate that the turtle has an intestinal buoyancy problem and was then unintentionally hit by a boat with significant damage to its carapace and plastron. The turtle is missing its right rear flipper and a large section of its left carapace, both probably occurring when the turtle was a hatchling. Staff members are attempting to stabilize the carapace and plastron. Extensive treatment will be needed to save this turtle.
