Issue: Unknown Trauma

Fortin is a juvenile Kemp’s ridley sea turtle patient that was found at FPL’s St. Lucie site. The turtle has trauma from an unknown cause to its carapace that will be treated topically with antibiotics and therapeutic laser. Fortin will receive antibiotics and be monitored closely by hospital staff as its wounds are being treated.
