Joey is a juvenile green from Boynton Beach entangled in fishing line. The left humerus bone was exposed. Dr. Kristen Dube surgically removed the humerus on July 26th. Currently on antibiotics and pain medications.

PROGRESS NOTES:

9/8/2023 - Joey was successfully released on Thursday, September 7, 2023.

9/1/2023 - Joey has been cleared for release.

8/25/2023 - Sutures were removed and surgical site has healed well.

8/18/2023 - Sutures can be removed next week if the incision still looks good.

8/11/2023 - He is doing very well, but needs more time for his incision to heal before release.
