PROGRESS NOTES:
12/17/2015 – Kolby has been released after sucessfull rehabilitation at LMC.
11/30/2015 – Kolby has been cleared for release in the immediate future. Notification of release will be forthcoming.
11/9/2015 – Kolby continues to do well without medication. The turtle has now been tagged in anticipation of a release in the near future.
10/26/2015 – Kolby was taken off of all antibiotics due to the decreased white blood cell numbers. We will continue to monitor the bloodwork closely.
10/8/2015 – Kolby’s white count is now within normal range. The turtle will be evaluated later this week in order to possibly stop all antibiotics.
9/7/2015 – Kolby developed an elevated white cell count but is responding well to treatment.
8/7/2015 – A large quantity of air was removed from the intestines. The turtle’s treatment plan has been working well to reduce the amount of air that remained in the intestines after the aspirate. Kolby has been swimming well to the bottom of the tank, but it does still float occasionally.
