ADMISSION NOTE:

Lowell is a sub adult Loggerhead sea turtle, that was recovered from the power plant intake canal. The turtle has an old motorcraft injury (propeller hit) to the carapace which has caused spinal cord damage and paralysis of both rear flippers.

PROGRESS NOTES:

12/12/2010 – Lowell has begun an antibiotic regimen and will undergo surgical debridement of the wound to promote healing.
