ADMISSION NOTE:

Nemo is a juvenile green sea turtle that was hooked by a fisherman at Coral Cove Park. The turtle was hooked at the back of the mouth. The hook was removed. Nemo is being observed due to elevated blood values. Antibiotics have been started. Nemo will be monitored.

PROGRESS KEY:

This turtle is progressing well and responding to therapy as desired.

There is a minor issue that we are working to resolve.

02/08/2017 – Nemo was released at Coral Cove Park on February 2nd.

01/25/2017 –

01/12/2017 – The turtle has completed treatment for coccidia and will be tested next week to determine how successful treatment was.

01/04/2017 – Undergoing treatment for coccidia.

12/14/2016 – The turtle was treated for fecal parasites, and we are now waiting for follow-up tests.
