Patrick is a juvenile green sea turtle patient that was found in the Intracoastal Waterway in Jupiter with a heavy epibiota load on its carapace and plastron. The turtle is underweight, lethargic, and in poor health overall due to being debilitated. Patrick also has wounds on its carapace, most likely from the heavy epibiota load, that will be treated topically and with therapeutic laser. We will monitor Patrick’s bloodwork closely as we treat with antibiotics.
