Taylor is a juvenile green found in Lake Rogers in Boca Raton, Fl. Taylor had a boat strike on a carapace and head. Dr. Baron performed a fracture repair with screws and wires. Currently treatments include wound vac and antibiotics.

4/14/2023 - Sea_turtle_icon(green)The wound is not healing and infection is spreading so another surgical debridement is needed. Current treatment includes wound vac, honey bandage, TPN, tube feeding, antibiotics and pain medication. Prognosis is poor.

4/7/2023 - Sea_turtle_icon(green)On April 7, Dr. Barron performed surgery again to remove the necrotic bone and tissue and placed antibiotic beads in the wound. Currently treatments include wound vac, antibiotics and pain medication.
