PROGRESS NOTES:

08/16/2017 – We are sad to report that Timmy has succumbed to illness and is unfortunately no longer with us.

08/10/2017 Sea_turtle_icon(red) Despite an improved appetite, we are not happy with the progression of the healing process. We are planning to do a colonoscopy procedure in the near future.

08/02/2017 Sea_turtle_icon(yellow) The wounds have recently been debrided and dead bone was removed. There is good granulation tissue developing, which means the healing process is going well. Timmy has been placed in the water in the mornings to be fed and dry docked during the day to receive proper treatment. Timmy has been eating well.

07/27/2017 Sea_turtle_icon(yellow) Wounds are healing and appetite has improved.

07/20/2017 Sea_turtle_icon(yellow) The turtle is now being put in the water once daily for feeding. The appetite has improved and the turtle is eating well. Timmy is still being dry docked 23+ hours a day.
