Tobias is a juvenile green sea turtle that was found unable to dive in the Intracoastal Waterway in Hobe Sound. Radiographs show a large amount of gas throughout the intestines which is the cause for the floating. The carapace is also damaged from old boat strike injuries. We will monitor Tobias’s health with follow-up radiographs and weekly bloodwork as we treat the flotation issue.
