Admission Weight: 4.12 kg., 9.06 lbs.
Current Weight: 4.22 kg. / 9.30 lbs.

Initial Condition: Hook ingestion

Waffle is a juvenile green that was captured at Pompano Beach Pier. Radiographs indicated the hook was located in the stomach. Unable to remove the hook through the mouth. Dr. Barron accessed the stomach through the left shoulder. Unfortunately the hook perforated the stomach and was in the coelomic cavity. Due to the damage to the stomach, Waffle will be given TPN and fluids and dry docked. Prognosis is very grave.

Patient requires continued treatment but is progressing well.
