Dr. Logger Show

Dr. Logger is an educational ambassador for sea turtles. Through an interactive show, Dr. Logger and “Bob” the sea turtle educate the audience on the life of a sea turtle, by addressing various topics: threats, nesting, anatomy, lifestyle, etc. This show is for guests of all ages, it’s interactive with the audience and fast-paced. Register for your desired date in our calendar.

Turtle Talk

Turtle Talk engages visitors 8 years and older in a lecture style program and tour. The program will educate young adults and adults about sea turtle biology, ecology, and conservation. You will also learn about our rescue to release protocol and our outdoor sea turtle hospital.

Ages: Geared towards 8+
Time: Every Sunday at 10:30 a.m.

Guided Tours

Our Guided Tour programs are designed to offer guests a more comprehensive experience on campus. During the 1 hour program, an education docent will lead registered guests through the Exhibit Hall and outdoor sea turtle hospital, touching on topics such as conservation efforts, LMC history, and the current conditions of our patients. !

Eco Adventure Series

Join Loggerhead Marinelife Center biologists on local eco excursions and explore the diverse coastal ecosystems of Florida. From river to reef, participants will learn about the local flora and fauna as well as gain and insight into the important of these delicate ecosystems in their community. Tours range from toddler programs to adult-only programs with all materials included.

Fish Feeding

Stop by our exhibit hall and take a trip through Florida’s Coastal Ecosystems. Watch the unique and interesting creatures that inhabit our aquariums.  Learn about different feeding behaviors and food choices as our fish, corals, anemones and much more chow down. This program is FREE and all guests are welcome to attend. Register for your desired date on our calendar.
