I took my 3 and 5 year old here for the first day of summer and we were overly impressed. The new facility is well made and gorgeous. There was a summer camp or two present but they did not get in our way. There was plenty of room. The educators are knowledgeable and answered all of our questions and more. We were able to see large turtles in the ICU. We saw turtle feedings, turtle skeletons, and many fish tanks too. My kids were impressed with the sharks. I learned a lot as an adult including the different types of sea turtles, what they eat, and how they nest. There was an indoor area with glowing jellyfish and some additional fish tanks. The kids can design their own fish on this large projector screen. There was even a small cafe outside, but we didn't eat there. Lots of shade. The facility right across the street from Juno beach, you can walk there. Small playground outside of the facility too. Gopher tortoise walking path. Free to get in. Instead they accept donations. Great gift shop. I would highly recommend this place for locals and any visitors (adults or kids). Unique experience. 
Highly recommended- very informative place to visit to learn about sea turtles and the incredible conservation work taking place. The public tour is worth the extra time and fee, the guides are excellent and happy to answer questions whilst explaining how the center functions and the individual turtles on site at the time. Top tip- leave plenty of time for getting through local traffic and to park on site. I love turtles so much, so this was like a paradise for me. Seeing all of the rehabilitated turtles was so heartwarming, and all of the volunteers knew all of the stories of how they got there. There were small turtles and big turtles all with their own unique story. There are also fish tanks with exotic fish like pufferfish, swordfish, and lion fish. Although it's small, it's great place to take children to learn more about turtles and marine life in general, without the hustle and bustle or price of bigger sea attractions. Loggerhead is really doing good for the turtle community and I will definitely donate and go back to see how my little friends are doing. We always stop at Loggerhead Marinelife Center. This year was an exceptional visit. The newly enhanced center was a delightful surprise with a wonderful theatre, classrooms for children and an outside lunch 'room' for children. The enlarged gift shop was difficult to leave with so many new items. At this visit we attended the By the Sea Lecture Series which was preceeded with a 'happy hour' at the 'new' Center. Additionally, I enjoy following the number of turtle nests (located 8 at this time), and walking the beach to try and locate a nest myself. A great visit for all.
