About Wasabi

Species:

Green sea turtle (Chelonia mydas) CM 23-64

Wasabi is a juvenile green that was found at Deerfield Beach, FL with a hook found superficially in its right front flipper. Wasabi is a spicy juvenile, hence the name. The hook was removed and this patient is currently on antibiotics. We found parasites in Wasabi’s fecal sample and is now on a dewormer.
