Join us for the *World Ocean Month Film Festival*, a two-day celebration of ocean conservation and the beauty of our oceans! In partnership with the *International Ocean Film Foundation*, this exciting event takes place during World Ocean Day weekend, June 12 & 14, 2026, at Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach, FL.

Through captivating films and engaging events, the festival brings together filmmakers, conservationists, and the community to explore pressing ocean conservation challenges and solutions.

Kick off the World Ocean Month Film Festival with our exclusive VIP event featuring the premiere of new, short films focused on ocean science, conservation, and the future of our oceans. This limited engagement event features the LMC premiere of 2026 International Ocean Film Festival selections, guest presentation from underwater photographer Gabriel Jensen, and complimentary concessions and beverages throughout the evening. AND exclusive reserved seating at the Sunday featured film; A Life Illuminated (2025), the extraordinary story of marine biologist Edith "Edie" Widder.

Ticket Information: Tickets are $40 per person and directly support LMC’s mission of sea turtle conservation. Seats are limited to just 100 people, so don’t miss this unique experience!

2026 Intermission Presentation: Gabriel Jensen

Gabriel Jensen
Gabriel Jensen is the 2025 Underwater Close Up Photographer of the Year and an internationally published underwater photographer, biochemist, and naturalist. His award-winning images celebrating the vibrant microfauna of the Tropical Western Atlantic have been featured by Forbes, BBC Wildlife, Smithsonian Magazine, National Geographic Wild, and more.
Gabriel serves on the Board of Directors for the South Florida Underwater Photography Society (SFUPS), where he helps connect underwater photographers, marine scientists, and ocean enthusiasts with the resources and mentorship they need to elevate their craft.
A passionate explorer of South Florida’s busy urban waterways, Gabriel has a particular love for exotic sea slugs and cryptic marine life. His discoveries have contributed to popular publications and scientific resources including the Blue Heron Bridge Guide, Ocean Geographic Society, Scuba Diver Magazine, and Florida United Malacologists. He is also a recipient of top honors in the NOAA and REEF photo competitions, reflecting his commitment to combining storytelling, science, and conservation through imagery.
