Shark-Bait-Hoo-Ha-Ha! Jump into predator versus prey as Loggerhead Marinelife Center’s biologist, Lindsay, discusses predator interactions with sea turtles. Tune in to meet JJ, a juvenile green sea turtle patient currently being treated in The Sea Turtle Hospital at LMC for shark bite injuries.

At Loggerhead Marinelife Center, we see sea turtles with various injuries and illnesses. One of the most common illnesses that we treat is chronic debilitation. This may sound very unusual and probably foreign to you but tune in and learn more about this illness and how we treat sea turtles that have been diagnosed with it!

This program highlights a select few of our 19 sea turtle patients in our state-of-the-art Indoor and Outdoor Sea Turtle Hospital. Unique in its kind, the Sea Turtle Hospital at LMC features a Blood Laboratory, Pharmacy and Surgical Suite.
