About
Loggerhead Marinelife Center’s ASL Day is an opportunity for guests to experience an ASL-led tour of our facility as well as a presentation by a Deaf biologist from our Research Department. After the tour, guests are welcome to join our Fish Feeding presentation that will be interpreted in American Sign Language (ASL). Loggerhead Marinelife Center’s ASL Days are generously supported by the Mary Alice Fortin Foundation.
Through LMC’s Oceans of Opportunity initiative, we seek funding to underwrite the cost of educational programming that serves under-represented groups in marine science and underserved communities. Contributions to the facility are still welcomed. For more information or to pledge your support, contact Hannah Campbell at [email protected].
