Current Weight: 61.7 lbs.

Initial Condition: Floating

Romeo is a sub-adult green found floating near Vero Beach. Radiographs indicate gas in the GI tract. No known cause for this gas. Romeo is a highly stressed patient and every effort should be made to keep activity and noise level low in his area. Treatments include medicine help with anxiety, TPN, antibiotics, and appetite stimulant. CT scan is being planned if Romeo continues to not eat or pass any feces.

PROGRESS NOTES:

12/28/2022 - Sea_turtle_icon(green)Romeo was successfully released at Hutchinson Beach on Wednesday, 12-21.

12/12/2022 - Sea_turtle_icon(green)Romeo has started eating off tongs. Currently defecating tunicates or sea squirts. Gas has resolved and Romeo resting on the bottom and able to dive.

12/5/2022 - Sea_turtle_icon(green)Romeo is a highly stressed patient and every effort should be made to keep activity and noise level low in his area. Treatments include medicine to help with anxiety, TPN, antibiotics, and appetite stimulant. CT scan indicated no GI impaction present. Romeo has started showing interest in food.
