2021 Scholarships

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center Junior Marine Biologist camp scholarship is available for campers ages 6*-17 who meet certain criteria. We work all year long raising funds to make sure that children who want to attend camp, but are unable due to financial reasons, still have the opportunity to participate.

For each applicable child and include a letter of recommendation from your child’s teacher or guidance counselor.

*6-year-olds must be six by the date of their camp enrollment and have already attended kindergarten.

Isabel Sun Memorial Scholarship

Isabel Sun loved animals of all kinds and was deeply concerned about their welfare. She visited Loggerhead Marinelife Center for the first time in 2010 and became fascinated with the sea turtles and their well-being. Visiting the center inspired her stewardship on behalf of animals and she strived to share her passion with her friends, family and community.

The Isabel Sun Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to children and teens to attend Junior Marine Biologist summer camp that are in need of financial assistance. Successful recipients will be students who care about marine life and aspire to help conserve them in the future.

Scholarship will include one week of JMB summer camp with two camp t-shirts per child.
